Dear Members and friends,
As you are aware that elections of AURA were held on 21st February 2016 in most surcharged atmosphere. Despite non co-operation of Mr. Arun Pareek, ExTreasurer and obstacle created by other members, I was able to hold the elections in most democratic way. Since I had original documents with me, I was able to prepare the list of members and electorate who were eligible to vote. Mr. G.B. Burnie, who was appointed the Returning Officer for conducting the elections.He was assisted by Wg Cdr Nag and Mr. Kanihya Lal Agarwal. The able team did commendable job and elections were conducted in peaeful manner.
Following were elected as the new team:-
1. Mr. Balwant Gidra - President
2. Mr. K.L. Agarwal - Vice President
3. Mr. Ramniwas Phalod - Secretary
4. Mr. Vind Kumar Sharma - Joint Secretary
5. Mr. M.C. Deshmukh - Treasurer
6. Major M R Penghal (Retd) - Executive Member
7. Mr. M.L. Rathi - Executive Member
8. Mr. S.K. Khosla - Executive Member
9. Mr. KanakShrimal - Executive Member
10. Mrs. Pamela Matta - Executive Member
I sincerely thank all members of AURA and friends for their valuable co-operation during my tenure of 2 years.I feel that my greatest achievement is to create good will among residents and harmony in Utsav. I hope that new team will continue to further the good will and harmony among the residents as our strength liesin unity in diversity.

In the meeting of Management Committee of AURA held on 1st May, 2016, Shri S.K. Khandelwal was appointed Secretary AURA in place of Shri Ramniwas Phalod, who resigned due to personal reasons.

It is matter of regret that Mr. M C Deshmukh, Treasurer, Mr. S. K. Khosla and Mrs. Pamela Marta, Executive members resigned and vacancies caused by two office bearers and two executive members have been filled without taking General Body into confidence. I suggest that President AURA should direct Secretary AURA to cover extraordinary general body meeting to get these appointments ratified to ensure democratic functioning of the Management Committee of AURA.

ReplyDeleteIt is matter of regret that AURA team is a divided house without any direction. They are indulging in infructuous and petty politics leaving the core issues unattended. As a result, the service provider is trying to boss over the residents instead of concentrating on improvement of services and transparency in their dealings. The service provider is taking full advantage of the current situations. Members and most of the flat owners are also in state of complacency inspite of strong group of about 40 flat owners giving tough time to the service provider.
ReplyDeleteThrough this blog, I appeal to each and every flat owners, irrespective of his/her personal view, differences either with RWAs or others, to come forward and give his valuable co-operation in fight against injustice.
