Dear Members and friends,
As you are aware that elections of AURA were held on 21st February 2016 in most surcharged atmosphere. Despite non co-operation of Mr. Arun Pareek, ExTreasurer and obstacle created by other members, I was able to hold the elections in most democratic way. Since I had original documents with me, I was able to prepare the list of members and electorate who were eligible to vote. Mr. G.B. Burnie, who was appointed the Returning Officer for conducting the elections.He was assisted by Wg Cdr Nag and Mr. Kanihya Lal Agarwal. The able team did commendable job and elections were conducted in peaeful manner.
Following were elected as the new team:-
1. Mr. Balwant Gidra - President
2. Mr. K.L. Agarwal - Vice President
3. Mr. Ramniwas Phalod - Secretary
4. Mr. Vind Kumar Sharma - Joint Secretary
5. Mr. M.C. Deshmukh - Treasurer
6. Major M R Penghal (Retd) - Executive Member
7. Mr. M.L. Rathi - Executive Member
8. Mr. S.K. Khosla - Executive Member
9. Mr. KanakShrimal - Executive Member
10. Mrs. Pamela Matta - Executive Member
I sincerely thank all members of AURA and friends for their valuable co-operation during my tenure of 2 years.I feel that my greatest achievement is to create good will among residents and harmony in Utsav. I hope that new team will continue to further the good will and harmony among the residents as our strength liesin unity in diversity.
